Clipture Terms of Service

The app

Clipture is a desktop productivity utility for Mac and Windows provided by TalkApe (Hangzhou) Technology Co., Ltd. Its screenshot, annotation, scrolling capture, pin, and clipboard-history features are available without a paid subscription.

You are responsible for using Clipture in accordance with applicable law and for reviewing content before sharing or publishing it.

Optional sponsorship

The Clipture sponsorship is an optional one-time purchase priced at USD 5.99. It helps fund continued development and removes occasional sponsorship reminders; it does not unlock otherwise restricted capture features.

Direct sponsorship payments are processed by Stripe. Mac App Store purchases are billed by Apple under the terms of the App Store.

License and updates

TalkApe grants you a personal, non-exclusive license to install and use Clipture on Macs you control. You may not resell, redistribute, reverse engineer for commercial replication, or misuse the service.

Direct builds may receive signed automatic updates. App Store builds receive updates through Apple. Features and system requirements may change as macOS and Windows evolve.

Availability and liability

Clipture is provided on an as-available basis. TalkApe works to keep the app reliable but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation in every third-party application or system configuration.

To the extent permitted by law, TalkApe is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
